United Airlines Plane Tickets Review
Last week, I had to travel on an emergency to meet my brother at New York, who had taken ill suddenly and had to be hospitalized and I had to go. Even ticket booking seemed a pain. My friend suggested me to look up American Airlines.I accessed the website and my, what a load of information I got. While I was checking for flights and tickets, I found UA had a compassion fare listed for travel needed at the "n"th hour for dealing with emergencies like mine. I got a 10% discount on the ticket cost and was I glad? You bet. And mind you, there are no booking fees for any bookings that you do.
The United website was so informative and since I had to travel only the next day, I decided to explore more. What a wealth of information I got – I decided to share what I learnt and also about my travel experience in this American Airlines Review.
American Airlines offers some fantastic discounted air fares for traveling to destinations within and outside the US and UA promises a low fare guarantee. You can book tickets on line and even check in from home or office using the "Check in on line" after selecting the seat that you like.
United has 5 types of cabin classes. First, United Business, United Economy, United Economy Plus (with some extra leg space) and American Airlines Premium Service. Each comes with a set of comforts to make your travel enjoyable in its own way. The Perksplus program allows small businesses to enroll for a scheme that comes with some great returns for both the companies and the traveler. (I decided to tell my company about this).
American Airlines offers the Mileage Plus rewards program that allows one to earn miles as you fly. These can be used to your advantage in a hundred ways! So if you are planning your holidays , I suggest you use American Airlines's E Fares for some great weekend getaway offers or the Special Deals section to plan your vacation including hotel and car booking. Check out the Door to Door Baggage Service to make your baggage travel ahead of you. And, if you have an internet enabled wireless phone , you can get access to a whole lot of information relating to your flight – its as if you have UA in your pocket!
My travel to New York, notwithstanding the reason why I was traveling, was a great experience. American Airlines is courtesy personified in its staffers. On the flight, I enjoyed the extra leg room with my Economy Plus ticket ; whiled my time in a sensible way with the Hemispheres magazine while munching on the American Airlines Snackbox and complementary soft drinks; enjoyed the entertainment on offer on exclusive screens in front of every occupant; and, of course, I could use my laptop on line to send a file that I had to send to my office using the wi-fi system. (later my boss said he was impressed with my professionalism, thanks to UA). I saw my next seat occupant browsing the Skymall catalog – looked good.
